Stefan Bajcetic, a 17-year-old midfielder for Liverpool, has extended his contract by another four years.
Shortly before turning 18, the Spain youth international made his debut for Jurgen Klopp’s team in August.
Since then, he has made an additional nine appearances and in the Premier League victory at Aston Villa in December, he scored his first professional goal.
He ran through a door, which I’m not even sure was open, and was very remarkable, according to Klopp.
Bajcetic continued, “It’s incredible to see how fast it went, but I keep working hard and hopefully [there are] more things to come.” Bajcetic cost £220,000 when he transferred from Celta Vigo to Liverpool in December 2020.
